Coast & Country Housing has hosted a visit by the Chairman of the Homes and Communities Agency to its £20m Steeple Chase development, which is the largest in the country to receive Kickstart funding from the HCA.

Robert Napier, HCA Chairman, took to the controls of a digger to cut the first patch of earth for the foundation works to get underway at the site in Redcar.

Steeple Chase, which was formerly the Blayberry/Burnmoor estate, has been allocated £4.5m by the HCA towards its first four phases, which will comprise 141 homes. Keepmoat, a community regeneration and affordable housing specialist, has been appointed as the developer for this scheme.
