Leeds law firm Lee & Priestley LLP brought together 12 of Yorkshire's leading financial and business authorities to form the first shadow monetary policy committee, in the hope of inspiring policy from a Yorkshire perspective.

Working with the Yorkshire Post to form the committee, members included the top people in the region from the Institute of Directors, Federation of Small Businesses, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Trades Union Congress and Leeds Financial Services Initiative.
