Bannatyne’s Health Club at Tower 42 in the City of London is helping fundraisers prepare for Shelter’s unique ‘Vertical Rush’ charity run, with the launch a special online training video.
‘Vertical Rush’, which takes place in March 2009, will see participants run up The city of London’s tallest building, Tower 42 in a sport called ‘tower running’. It is one of the world’s fastest growing sports, but this is the first time it has taken place in Britain.
To help runners take on the building’s 42 floors and 750 steps, Bannatyne’s fitness professionals have created an exercise video, which has been donated to Shelter to use on their website. The online video offers tips to help build stamina and work the parts of the body that will be used the most during the event.
